ImageLab™ and the D.S.M. (Digital Storage Module) offer the user total digital archival and retrieval capabilities, direct or network access to any PC printer, image saving and editing using PC compatible platform, media storage, possibility to connect to both LAN (Local Area Network) or WAN (Wide Area Network).
Operated from a PC fitted into the ultrasound system's trolley, the ImageLab™ option provides the perfect level of connectivity, tailored to each user's individual needs. With ImageLab™, ultrasound images are archived automatically based on the inserted patient identification. The images can then easily be viewed on the ultrasound system's monitor. Additional formats allow the user to edit the stored images with any commercial editing program, as well as send them to colleagues for additional consultation. ImageLab™ is an integral part of establishing a truly paperless and filmless imaging department.
ImageLab™ includes optional DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) compatibility, the international standard for transmitting and managing medical images, so that all equipment can be integrated into the DICOM network easily.
IMAGELAB™ DESKTOP VERSION
The ImageLab™ Desktop Version is also available to be installed onto the PC and review all patient databases either via network (by sharing the Esaote products) or importing the patient database via MOD and DVD-RAM.
